Hamburg Board approves subdivision and garage variances; tables three applications

NY HAMBURG — Hamburg Zoning Board approves residential expansion variances in April meeting. The Board of Zoning Appeals, chaired by Ric Dimpfl, unanimously approved two area variances: Carl Dinezza's two-parcel subdivision at 58 North Shore Drive to bring his daughter from North Carolina closer to help care for his wife following her recent strokes, and Jennifer Able's garage expansion at 4610 Dorothy Place, supported by an affected neighbor. The board tabled three applications including a sign variance, a use variance for a cat cafe and animal rescue pending financial documentation, and a detached garage variance pending homeowner contact and neighbor input.
