Planning Board approves self-storage site plan

NY HAMBURG — Hamburg Planning Board grants conditional approval for self-storage facility at South Park Avenue and Bayview Road. The Planning Board unanimously approved 716 Storage, LLC's as-built site plan with engineering review conditions and sidewalk waivers. The project reduced building count from the original 2023 design while retaining the validity of the 2023 Environmental Quality Review negative declaration.
The board held a public hearing on a proposed four-lot subdivision at Lake Shore Road, where six residents expressed concerns about neighborhood character and traffic safety impacts. The applicant was directed to submit written responses by June 12 before further consideration. Five other applications were tabled or scheduled for June 17.
