Town Board · Meeting of June 8, 2026
NY HAMBURG — Hamburg Town Board approves $1.17M beach jetty repair contract. The Board awarded the Town Beach Jetty Repair Project to Legend Excavating LLC for $1,170,416, to be funded initially from General Fund balance pending FEMA reimbursement with 25 percent local match. The Board unanimously adopted amendments to Chapter 75, establishing new violation-cure procedures and town-authorized maintenance for properties with excessive brush and weeds, with costs recovered as tax liens.
The Board also ordered demolition of an unsafe structure at 5036 Lakeshore Road following code enforcement findings of structural compromise and water intrusion, and scheduled a June 22 public hearing on proposed Buffalo Bills Stadium Economic Impact Area zoning amendments setting development guidelines adjacent to the new stadium.
