Hamburg Town Board adopts comprehensive new Rules of Order

NY HAMBURG — Hamburg Town Board adopts new Rules of Order and approves professional services. The five-member board unanimously adopted a comprehensive set of governance rules covering meeting schedules, agenda procedures, conduct standards, and voting protocols, with regular meetings set for Mondays at 7 p.m. and an end time of 10 p.m. for regular business. The board confirmed Town Attorney Kenneth J.
Farrell and Deputy Town Attorneys Brian Attea and Joseph Gogan for two-year terms; appointed Councilmember Dan Kozub as Deputy Town Supervisor; and approved annual professional services agreements with GHD Consulting Services Inc. for engineering work (2026 budget of 175,000 dollars), Barclay Damon LLP for labor counsel at up to 350 dollars per hour for partners, EECG Consulting for grants work at 80 dollars per hour, and Drescher & Malecki LLP and Allied CPAs PC for accounting and audit services. One item, Recreation Fees, failed without recorded votes.
