Hamburg Town Board adopts zoning amendments, Fair Housing updates

NY HAMBURG — Hamburg Town Board unanimously adopted amendments to Article XLIV Site Plan Review zoning code, completing a three-year planning initiative tied to the town's 2022 Comprehensive Plan. The board also advanced proposed Fair Housing Chapter 109 amendments with a public hearing set for August 10, and named Alumni Park at Parker Road and Big Tree Road to honor Hamburg's connection to Buffalo sports. The board approved a 31,500 dollar contract with Buffalo Engineering, P.C., for ice rink roof-top HVAC system design and greenlighted grant applications for the Water Quality Improvement Project salt facility, Mt.
Vernon Sanitary Sewer Phase II, Blasdell Community Brownfield Opportunity Area nomination, and Seaway Trail Vista Point design.
