Planning Board approves childcare center, tables major subdivision reviews

NY HAMBURG — Hamburg Planning Board unanimously approves childcare center proposal at 4090 Jeffrey Boulevard. Southtowns Early Learning Nest, LLC received three unanimous resolutions for its 6,500-square-foot facility with a 3,000-square-foot playground. Member Stewart moved all three approvals: SEQR Negative Declaration, Special Use Permit, and Site Plan, each passing without opposition.
The project followed approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals on July 7 for a playground-area variance. The board separately tabled to August 5 three major development proposals including Radius Federal Credit Union's drive-thru banking facility and two residential subdivision projects.
