Board approves three variance applications at single meeting

NY HAMBURG — Board of Zoning Appeals approves three variance applications in February session. Chairman Ric Dimpfl's board unanimously granted an area variance to Paul Lenahan at 3669 Second Street for a residential addition with a 12-foot rear setback, with Commissioner Laura Hahn determining the self-created difficulty was balanced in the applicant's favor. Cathy Fabiatos received a use variance for adult-use cannabis retail at 3233 Lakeshore Road, unanimously approved with Vice-Chairman Nicole Falkiewicz's condition for Planning Board site plan review, and Jacob Matthew Vernon received unanimous approval for area variances on a pole barn at 2150 Lakeview Road.
